MEDIA ADVISORY: Take Stock in Children Luncheon
Who: Full Sail Real World Education in Association with Valencia Community College
What: Full Sail along with Valencia Community College will be hosting a luncheon to introduce the vital new program, Take Stock in Children. Approximately 100 guests are expected to attend including Mayor Crotty and other political leaders form the Orlando community.

Why: Take Stock in Children is a Florida-based mentoring/scholarship charity program. Expanding their program to the Orlando area, Take Stock in Children is a comprehensive program that helps low-income children succeed by providing college and vocational scholarships, volunteer mentors, student advocates/case managers, tutoring, early intervention and long-term support. High standards, parental involvement, and community support are crucial to the program's success. Since 1996, Take Stock in Children has impacted the lives of more than 14,000 deserving students in the state of Florida.
